    When the alarm is triggered, for how long will alarm ring and for how many cycles? In ARM mode, will ring for 30 seconds, then stop for 30 seconds then ring again for 30 seconds. Once no more motion is detected, or all telephone numbers dialed, it will re-arm itself and be in stand by mode.
    Will remotes in SK629 work with SK601? No. The SK601 is IR (infra red) and a different protocol then the SK629, which is RF.
    Can the system work on batteries only? What is the battery for? The battery is a back up for a power failure. It protects all the stored information in case of black out. On a fresh battery, it will store information for 7 days. If alarm is triggered while on battery power, it will operate normally as long as there is enough battery strength.
    Can the SK626 Siren be connected to the SK601? No. Sorry. Buy the SK622
    Can the SK615 be connected to the SK601? No Sorry. Buy the SK622
    Can the motion detector (top part) be removed and placed next to the dialer? No
    When you remove the back cover what are the terminals for? You can connect Ideal’s SK619 contact sensor to expand your alarm coverage.
